Traditional Pottery Art
The handmade pottery included in this category is shaped on a pottery wheel, hand carved, hand painted, and created, with great artistry, in our pottery studio. Clay carving tools are used to form a relief before the first firing cycle. After the hand painted pottery has been coated with a clear pottery glaze, a second firing cycle provides for the final form.
The handcrafted pottery designs are inspired by traditional embroideries from various parts of Greece. Each item is unique; a true work of pottery art. Considering the pottery supplies used are entirely ecological, all pottery is safe for use.
